Description
Battle Axe embarks on a PS5 adventure with a brand new physical Special Edition . Experience the game on PS5 for the first time, with challenging arcade hack n’ slash gameplay by Bitmap Bureau (XenoCrisis, Final Vendetta) and jaw dropping pixel art by industry legend Henk Nieborg. Original soundtrack by renowned composer Manami Matsumae (Mega Man, Shovel Knight, Dynasty Warriors , more). Choose from three heroes each with signature weapons, traits, and special abilities to tackle the ghouls and goblins that stand in your way. Play solo or bring along a friend for a co-op adventure. Your homeland of Mercia has been held in the tyrannical grip of “Etheldred”; a despotic sorceress residing in an impenetrable tower in the distant icy wastelands. A band of heroes set out on a quest to end her reign once and for all. An homage to arcade greats “Gauntlet” and “Golden Axe” with a modern twist from an experienced game dev studio. A modern day classic arcade action game!
